Key Takeaways
Social media, mobile marketing, search, blogs and more…all the latest marketing strategies and techniques have one thing in common – Content Marketing. Content Marketing is the concept that all companies are now publishers today.
This means that the role of both the marketing pro and the journalist has changed forever. Marketing departments are beginning to evolve rapidly into becoming publishers, news organizations, thought leaders and content factories.
The problem: Although there are a crop of new titles arising including chief content officer, content strategist, branded content director and content marketing manager, there are no clear educational paths for those titles.
That’s beginning to change: NOW!
Cleveland State University, in partnership with the Content Marketing Institute and Kelly Services, is sponsoring a three-hour session on the Content Marketing career path. Leading content experts will descend on Cleveland to present and answer questions from area student business leaders.
