After years spent in theatrical marketing, including more than a decade at 20th Century Fox as SVP, Rita made the leap to digital and swears by it as the best professional move of her career.
Rita arrived at Yahoo May 2013 to lead the marketing partnerships and branded entertainment teams, responsible for building content platforms that can be monetized to drive incremental ad revenue, support initiatives across Yahoo’s comms & media products (including Yahoo Sports, Search, lifestyle verticals), and managing Yahoo’s influencer program.
In June 2016, she launched Yahoo Storytellers, an end-to-end custom content team providing brands a single source solution for data-led content marketing strategies, informed by Yahoo's 165B daily data signals. Now, as part of Oath: A Verizon Company, Rita leads the Storytellers team to produce premium video and editorial, provide data-led influencer activation across leading social platforms, content consulting/curriculum-based workshops and partnership extensions allowing brands to create customized experiences on and off network.
Rita is a proud immigrant who came to the US as a refugee from the Ukraine. She grew up in Los Angeles, where she attended the University of Southern CA (Fight On Trojans!), earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
