Over the past few weeks we have been talking about the networking and educational opportunities at Content Marketing World. While we still believe in the learning and career-enhancing experience CMWorld provides, today’s post is one that will allow content marketers to indulge in some of their other favorite pastimes: food, music and fun.
What better way to celebrate after a day of learning than unwinding with good food, drink and some wonderful local music? CONTENTFest is more than a party. It’s a way to dine, unwind, and network in a relaxed and entertaining setting.
Taking place at the Jacobs Pavillion at Nautica, on the evening of Tuesday, September 9th, CONTENTFest is walking distance from the Cleveland Convention Center and the downtown hotels. You’ll have plenty of time to go freshen up, change into comfortable clothes and dancing shoes, and come on over.
You know it, we know it, Cleveland rocks! It wouldn’t be Content Marketing World if we didn’t celebrate by sharing some of our awesome local talent with you. We’ll warm you up during dinner with a DJ playing your favorite hits. Don’t go home when he does, though, because the fun really starts to happen after we’re done spinning discs.
Opening the show after dinner is Cleveland’s own Welshly Arms. If you were at Positively Cleveland’s annual meeting in March, you heard their awesome and funky mix of blues, rock, and soul. If you missed them, you’re in for a treat. Then, Northeast Ohio’s own 1964: The Tribute, dubbed “the best Beatles tribute band on earth,” according to Rolling Stone, will take the stage, leaving you feeling nostalgic as you sing along. Any requests?
No one is going hungry at CONTENTFest, either. There will be food trucks a-plenty bringing you the best gourmet fare Cleveland has to offer.
Here’s a sneak peek at the what you can look forward to:
