This quote from Casey Neistat resonated with us, and we hope it does with you as well. We’re thrilled to announce that Casey Neistat, American film director, producer, developer, and creator of popular YouTube videos, will be our Wednesday afternoon keynote for Content Marketing World 2017.
You may know Neistat from his commercial success with the HBO series The Neistat Brothers and indie film Daddy Longlegs. What you may not know is that Neistat took his ten years of experience in creating TV commercials, combined it with his storytelling ability and helped re-define branded content on the internet. Neistat worked companies such as Mercedes and Nike, and most recently, Neistat’s technology company, Beme, was acquired by CNN.
Now, Neistat and CNN are building out a new digital network together with Neistat at the helm. Beyond his ever popular YouTube channel, his audience has followed him to Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat to hear his honest narrative and get a glimpse into the creator lifestyle. Casey has set a new standard for the way brands interact with digital creators and has carved out a niche for himself as a well-respected filmmaker, technology developer, and digital native influencer.
Are you itching to learn more of the backstory? Well you can get the 15-minute version as told by Casey, with his brilliant friend Kim Smith, behind the pencil. See how storytelling changed Casey’s life:
Besides the obvious connections our CMWorld attendees can make through much of his bio: niche, digital native influencer, branded content, and social media, there’s so much more we can learn from Casey. Joe Pulizzi, CMI’s founder and co-author of the upcoming book Killing Marketing, says: “In his YouTube video, ‘Draw My Life,’ Neistat says ‘Storytelling changed my life.’ At the heart of what content marketers do, we want to use consistent storytelling to positively affect the lives of our customers. Casey can explain his journey to our attendees, share some inspiration, and show our audience how they can do what Casey so successfully did.”
Content Marketing World’s main conference this year takes place Wednesday and Thursday, September 6th and 7th. Casey will close out Wednesday, a perfect time to decompress, listen and be inspired, after a long day of breakout sessions…giving us just what we need to hit the ground running on Thursday morning.
We don’t either! But thankfully we can find Casey through our favorite social media channels.
Let’s get that remedied quickly. Jump on over to our registration page. You’ll see lots of options. Our main conference and all-access pass both include Casey’s presentation.
