General Policies and Procedures

What will health and safety look like at Content Marketing World?
Content Marketing World, an Informa event, will be run according to official government and local authority guidance, as well as any venue or location-specific regulations. In addition, Content Marketing World will follow Informa’s AllSecure priority commitments. Visit the health and safety page for specific details and procedures.

What policies or restrictions are in place at the event?
Content Marketing World is requiring all participants and support staff to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test prior to entering the event. All event staff will wear masks when interfacing with guests.

In addition to government, local authority, and corporate guidance, we are working with our partners at the Huntington Convention Center to ensure appropriate hygiene. The HCC is a GBAC STAR facility as rated by ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association.

Will I be screened at the event?
All individuals attending Content Marketing World are required to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID test (within 72 hours of arrival) in order to access the event. Mask wearing and enhanced sanitation are highly recommended for all individuals attending.

What policies are in place for the off-site activities?
All off-site events follow the same protocols as the on-site event.

How are you going to ensure people stick to the rules?
Content Marketing World is working very diligently with all of our vendors to ensure a safe event for all attendees. We will have security staff and temp staff available to help guide individuals through the health and safety checkpoints, ensure proper mask wearing, and encourage hand sanitization.

What health, safety, and cleaning procedures will be in place at the venue?
The Huntington Convention Center is using industry-leading approaches to cleaning, disinfection, ventilation, and employee training. To learn more about their safety measures, watch this video.

Will medical assistance be provided on site?
The First Aid Station is located in Expo Hall A of the convention center. Medical personnel will be available to assist guests.

Who should I contact for any health and safety specific questions while I attend the event?

The Content Marketing World team will be available to answer questions. Stop by the Registration counter or the CMI booth on the Expo Hall floor (Booth 616) and we will be happy to assist. All other inquiries should be sent to CMI_Info@informa.com.

What happens if someone attending the event tests positive for COVID-19?

Mask Wearing

Will I be required to wear a mask at the event?
We are following the CDC’s latest guidance on mask wearing. While masks are currently not mandatory in Cleveland, we are strongly encouraging everyone to wear one. All staff will be required to wear them while interfacing with customers.

Will masks be available at the event?
All guests and staff wearing masks either at the event or at an off-site activity should bring their own masks. A limited supply will be available on-site.

Vaccinations & Testing

What is the vaccination policy at the event?
Content Marketing World is requiring all participants and support staff to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test prior to entering the event.

What proof of vaccination is allowed?
Proof of vaccination:

  • May be provided in digital or paper format
  • Must display the date the vaccine was administered, or in the case of a 2-dose vaccine series the date of the first and second dosages
  • Must be accompanied by a form of legal identification to verify the participant’s information matches the proof provided
  • In accordance with CDC guidelines, people are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after having received their final vaccine dose

What if I forget to bring proof of vaccination?

Proof of vaccination may be provided in digital or print format, including a photograph, and must be accompanied by legal identification. Any participant unable to provide proof of vaccination (or negative test results) will not be allowed to proceed to registration and will be directed to local testing sites.

What proof of negative test results is allowed?

  • May be provided in digital or paper format
  • Must be administered no more than 3 calendar days prior to entering the event
  • Must be accompanied by a form of legal identification to verify the participant’s information matches the proof provided

What if I forget to bring proof of my negative test results?
Proof of negative test results may be provided in digital or print format, including a photograph, and must be accompanied by legal identification. Any participant unable to provide proof of negative test results (or full vaccination) will not be allowed to proceed to registration and will be directed to local testing sites.

What should I do if I suspect someone is showing COVID-19 symptoms?
Please notify Registration or the CMI booth on the Expo Hall floor (Booth 616) and we will be happy to assist. You can also email the team at CMI_Info@informa.com

What should I do if I have COVID-19 symptoms before arriving at the event?

If you feel unwell and have any of the known symptoms of COVID-19, we must ask that you stay home. You can refer to the CDC’s COVID-19 self-checker guide by clicking here.

What should I do if I have COVID-19 symptoms while attending the event?
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, we must ask you to leave the venue. Please visit the First Aid Station in Expo Hall A for testing.

What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19 while attending the event?

In The Convention Center 

Will there be enough room to maintain social distancing?
Session room seating will include extra spacing for comfort, and presentations will be available on demand through our virtual platform for anyone who wishes not to participate in person. We designed the floorplan to give everyone space and comfort and reduce the chance of crowding. Speakers will practice social distancing when speaking in their sessions.

How will food and beverages be served at the event?
Food and beverage service will follow local specifications and will rely on individually wrapped items and/or staff service.

Does the venue have water stations available to refill water bottles?
Yes, there are touchless water bottle refill stations located around the convention center. There will also be water bubblers available at the event.

I’m an Exhibitor. Do you have additional cleaning measures for booths?
Yes, Exhibitors can order enhanced cleaning and disinfection services for their booths. The venue will also spray all booths with an electromagnetic cleaner nightly.

Are Content Marketing World vendors and partners following the same protocols?
All Content Marketing World vendors and partners have rigorous health and safety standards in addition to agreeing to comply with our Informa AllSecure standards.
