In her role as Managing Director of Digital Content, Amanda Lordy oversees the creative strategy, editorial direction and execution of content across NASCAR.com and NASCAR social media channels. She also manages the sanctioning body’s strategies for and relationships with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube.
Lordy joined NASCAR in 2015 to start the Partner Engagement team, a group she continues to lead in her current position. The team works closely with NASCAR Partnership Marketing to deliver digital and social media strategy, counsel and support to NASCAR Official Partners. During her tenure at NASCAR, she’s driven social media strategy for key initiatives and platforms, launched the brand’s presence on Snapchat and established the sport’s social media and content monetization approach.
Amanda has expertise across digital and social media and corporate communications. Before joining NASCAR, she was Vice President of Digital Strategy at Taylor, where she developed and executed digital and social media campaigns for client partners including NASCAR, 3M, Diageo, Allstate, Capital One and PVH.
Amanda is a frequent speaker at industry events including SXSW Interactive, the Digital Summit and the National Sports Forum. She has a B.A. in Communications from Loyola University Maryland and an M.A. in Arts and Letters from Drew University. @lordylordy
