Packing List

Conference attire is business casual, but you may consider packing:

  • A sweater or light jacket since personal preferences vary regarding room temperature
  • Running shoes or yoga pants if you’re interested in joining us for a morning workout
  • Orange shirts, pants, shoes, or accessories (wearing orange is a CMWorld tradition!)
  • Friendship bracelets to trade with fellow attendees
  • A reusable water bottle to help you stay hydrated and support our sustainability initiatives

Mobile App

Planning your agenda is faster and easier with the official mobile app!

Download the app here or search for CMI Events in the app store. You must log in with the email you used to register for the conference. After you enter your email, you’ll be prompted to create a password.

Complimentary wi-fi will be available. Details will be printed on the back of your badge.

You can build your agenda in the app, but note that seating is first come, first serve, so arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend.

Badge Pickup

Location:
Enter the San Diego Convention Center at the Hall B doors. This will lead you directly to the registration counters where you can pick up your badge.

If you attended last year, note that this is in a different area of the convention center.

Times:
Mon, Sept. 15 – 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Tues, Sept. 16 – 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
Wed, Sept. 17 – 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

Meals

Your conference pass includes breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday. Meals will be in the Expo Hall and menus are posted in the mobile app.

Detailed menu cards will be available to help navigate dietary restrictions.

Key Locations

  • Agency Lounge: Expo Hall Booth 609
  • Bag Check (open on Wednesday, Sept. 17): Across from Registration
  • Bookstore: Expo Hall Booth 330
  • Gender-Neutral Restrooms: Outside Hall A, near the registration desks
  • Nursing Pods: Lobby E women’s restroom (four separate pod-like chairs) and Lobby A restroom (lockable room with a chair)
  • Wellness Room / Relaxation Zone: Room #4 on the upper conference level
